North Shore Cabin SOLD

Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word about this land for sale. It will go to a wonderful couple who share the Sanctuary’s goals of keeping it wild. The Sanctuary will now concentrate its efforts on its property holdings near Moose Lake, MN.

Using funds donated through Nadine Blackock’s estate, Blacklock Nature Sanctuary purchased this beautiful section of shoreline just NE of Split Rock State Park. There is only one private owner between this property and the park on the lake. It is an easy paddle past Gold Rock Point to Split Rock Lighthouse. The North Shore Bike Trail is right at the top of the driveway. It features around 2,000 feet of Lake Superior shoreline, incredible views of wild shore and gull rocks, and a two bedroom cabin. The Sanctuary has placed conservation easements on the land with the Minnesota Land Trust, ensuring the land will remain pristine in perpetuity.

Having protected this land from further development, the Sanctuary wishes to sell it in order to pay off loans and ongoing expenses related to its land holdings near Moose Lake, Minnesota. The asking price is $825,000. If you are interested, please contact Craig or Honey Blacklock at 218-485-0478 to arrange for a tour.

The “Blacklock Cabin” may be rented through Cove Point Lodge, allowing you to stay a few nights to discover what an incredible place this is!

Do you know someone else who may be interested in purchasing this? If so, you could be rewarded with a $1500 ST. CROIX & NAMEKAGON RIVERS — Enduring Gift, Museum Edition book and the three framing prints that come with it! Just send this link to your lead and c.c.
